MN Open Branding Schedule

This MN Open Branding Schedule (“Branding Schedule”) describes the guidelines with respect to the inclusion of MediaNet branding within Your Application and is part of the MN Open Terms of Service (“TOS”) that governs Your use of the MN Open Service. From time to time MediaNet may modify this Branding Schedule in accordance with the TOS. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in the TOS.

  1. MN Open Web Components
    The MN Open Web Components contain MediaNet branding, which may include, but is not limited to, a “Powered by MediaNet” logo. You may not remove, alter, cover, obfuscate and/or otherwise interfere with any such branding.
  2. MN Open API
    1. If You are using the MN Open API, You must include MediaNet branding in accordance with one of the
      following options: Option 1

      White/near white backgrounds
      (less than 6% black)

      Light Backgrounds
      (Between 6% & 45% black)

      Dark backgrounds
      (Between 45% & 99% black)

      Black backgrounds
      (100% black)



      Option 2
      At least one of the following “Powered by MediaNet” logos displayed on each page (or similar presentation or display) within Your Application where the MN Open Service is made available to End Users:

      White/near white backgrounds
      (less than 6% black)

      Light Backgrounds
      (Between 6% & 45% black)

      Dark backgrounds
      (Between 45% & 99% black)

      Black backgrounds
      (100% black)

    2. The MediaNet branding must be displayed in accordance with the following guidelines:
      • The MediaNet branding must be placed on your Application in a conspicuous, clear and legible manner and location.
      • Any text used in connection with the MediaNet branding must be in a clear and legible font, the size of which shall be consistent with any associated text, but in no event less than [ ].
      • All logos are in .PNG format to help with the smooth integration against the background of Your Application, and we recommend keeping the logos in such format. In the event You change the format of the logo, You may not export them with any noticeable compression. The logos may not be reformatted or displayed in JPEG format.
      • Except for any format changes (e.g., PNG to GIF or BMP) required to integrate the logo into Your Application, the logos may not be altered in any way, including, but not limited to, scaled/resized (shrunk or enlarged), condensed, stretched, tilted, embellished, animated or have the colors changed.         You may only use the logos as set forth in this Schedule and not in any other manner or for any other purpose.
      • You must use a Logo which is appropriate for the background color of Your Application as shown in the tables above. If you are not sure which Logo to use, we recommend using the red on white Logo which is acceptable for all backgrounds.
      • You are encouraged to check this page on a regular basis as we may add additional options and/or logos for You to choose from.
