Biography

Elevation Worship is a Christian contemporary-worship band from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Band members include Chris Brown on guitar and vocals, Mack Brock on drums, Wade Joye on guitar and vocals and London Gatch on vocals.

Elevation Worship released three independent studio albums, beginning with “We Are Alive” in 2008, followed by “God With Us” in 2009 and “Kingdom Come” in 2010. Kingdom Come was the band’s first album to breakthrough onto the Billboard charts, reaching #5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, #42 on the Independent Albums chart and at #17 on the Christian Albums chart.

They signed with Essential Records sometime in 2011, issuing the album “For The Honor” in November 2011. It reached #1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and #19 on the Christian Albums chart.

Elevation Worship’s second album, “Nothing Is Wasted,” was released under the Essential label in February 2013. It debuted at #1 on the Christian Albums chart and at #41 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
