LMFAO is an electro-hop group from Los Angeles, California that consists of DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy) and SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy). They are the son and grandson, respectively, of Motown Records’ Berry Gordy. Stefan is Skyler's uncle.

“Party Rock,” their debut full-length album was released in July 2009 by Interscope Records. The album peaked at #33 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. The album was nominated at the 52nd Grammy Awards for Best Electronic/Dance Album. Their first single was titled "I'm in Miami Bitch" (clean version "I'm in Miami Trick") which peaked at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second single, "La La La," debuted at #62 on the Hot 100. Their third single "Shots" peaked at #24.

LMFAO has also been featured in many other songs, including the remix of the songs “Love Lockdown” by Kanye West and “LoveGame” by Lady Gaga, “Gettin' Over You” by David Guetta, and “Outta Your Mind” by Lil Jon.

In June 2011 they released their second album, “Sorry for Party Rocking,” via Interscope. It reached #12 on teh Billboard 200 and #2 on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The lead single, “Party Rock Anthem” featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
