Biography

Miguel Jontel Pimentel, who performs under the mononym Miguel, is an American recording artist, songwriter and producer.

Miguel contributed to Usher's albums “Here I Stand” (2008) and “Raymond v. Raymond” (2010), as well as Asher Roth's album “Asleep in the Bread Aisle” (2009) and Musiq Soulchild's single "IfULeave" (2008). Miguel released “Mischief: The Mixtape” in 2010.

After making his contribution to Usher's “Raymond v. Raymond” in 2010, Miguel released his debut single titled "All I Want Is You," which features J. Cole and was produced by Salaam Remi in 2010. The song reached #7 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #1 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Songs chart. The second single released was "Sure Thing." Miguel's debut album, “All I Want Is You,” was released on November 30, 2010 under Jive and Bystorm Entertainment. The album debuted at #109 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
