Gary Clark Jr.


Gary Clark Jr., is an American guitarist and actor from Austin, Texas. His live performances and recordings blend rock, soul and blues.

He self-released the album, “Tribute,” in 2005 and followed in 2008 with “110” via Hotwire Records. A second Hotwire release, “Worry No More,” was issued in 2008. Clark sang on the bonus track cover of “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5 on Sheryl Crow 's 2010 album “100 Miles from Memphis.”

He made his major-label debut on Warner Bros. Records with the release of his EP, “The Bright Lights” in 2011.

Clark starred alongside Danny Glover, Stacy Keach, and Charles Dutton in John Sayles' 2007 film, "Honeydripper."
