Biography

WU LYF (pronounced “Woo Life,” stands for “World Unite! Lucifer Youth Foundation”) is a band from Manchester, England that is best known for creating a mystery about themselves by declining requests for interviews and not releasing much information to the press. Formed in 2008 the band comprises drummer “Jeau” (Joe Manning), bassist “Lung” (Tom McClung), vocalist/keyboardist “Elle Jaie” (Ellery Roberts) and guitarist “Evanse” (Evans Kati).

“Go Tell Fire to the Mountain,” their debut album, was released in June 2011. Deciding against the conventional studio set up, they instead took over a disused church in Ancoats, Manchester, to record the self-produced album.
