Biography
Yuck is an indie rock band that originated from London, England. The band features members Daniel Blumberg and Max Bloom, both of whom formerly played in the band Cajun Dance Party.
Blumberg and Bloom began writing what would become Yuck material together after leaving their previous group Cajun Dance Party in 2008. In early 2010, after adding the likes of Jonny Rogoff on drums and Mariko Doi on bass the group began recording what would be their first LP in the summer of the same year. Yuck’s self-titled debut album was released through Fat Possum in February 2011 in the United States and on the Mercury Records label in the U.K.
