Today Dan Dougherty starts with us as Vice President of Business Development.  What will Dan be doing in this role?  He will play an integral part in expanding MediaNet’s customer base as we have added two new significant product offerings that include the MN Open API and Web Components.  MediaNet’s products are now available for any web publisher from a small, niche blogger to a major international brand in all sectors of business.  Dan’s mission is to grow our customer base exponentially as our new products can enhance any website or mobile application to engage users and add an additional revenue stream.

Dan’s background is the perfect fit for this task.  He’s a 21-year media veteran.  He spent the last 10 years in digital media sales in various roles including the head of sales for two digital music start-ups, SpiralFrog.com and SoundClick.com.  He also served in executive sales roles at AOL, NBC Universal Digital Media, and spent 11 years in the radio industry serving in various sales and management positions with McGavren Guild Radio, AMFM Radio and Katz Media.

Dan will be based in MediaNet’s New York headquarters.  Drop him a line if you would like to meet with him, ddougherty@mndigital.com.
