Alan McGlade
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. McGlade works with the Board of Directors and management team to develop and implement the overall business strategy for MediaNet. Prior to joining MediaNet, Mr. McGlade was President and CEO of The Box Music Network, an MTV Network's company and the world's first interactive music television network. After joining "The Box" in 1995, he expanded the network to more than 40 million households in the US and abroad and ultimately merged the company with MTV2 to create a widely distributed, interactive music channel companion to MTV.
Previously, Mr. McGlade served as President of StarNet, a pioneer in providing marketing, advertising and information services to the cable television industry utilizing digital technology. Earlier in his career, Mr. McGlade was founder and President of Adlink, the first satellite-delivered cable television advertising interconnect, which grew into the United State's top grossing cable advertising distribution service. Sean Muller
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Muller manages the day-to-day operation of the company and works with the management team and Board of Directors to drive strategy for our world-class digital entertainment platforms and services. Prior to joining MediaNet, Mr. Muller was EVP/CTO at Demand Media, Inc. overseeing the core platforms that power Demand’s network of professional content sites which attract over 100 million unique visitors monthly. Mr. Muller was instrumental in Demand's rapid growth to over 500 employees and corporate profitability in just two years.
Prior to Demand Media, Mr. Muller spent five years as VP/CTO at eNom Inc., growing it from a small domain registrar to the largest B2B (and second largest overall) provider of domain name registrations, DNS, hosting and related services.
Prior to eNom, Mr. Muller founded EduClick, Inc., an online distributor of books and software to schools and educational institutions. He also founded The Wedding Tracker LLC, an online provider of personal wedding websites and planning tools, which was acquired by The Knot. Sean received his MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.
Cindy Charles
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Ms. Charles is responsible for MediaNet's business and legal affairs, which includes overseeing content licensing, partner contracts and government relations. In addition, she also serves as Corporate Secretary.
Previously, Ms. Charles held a variety of positions for MTV Networks over a six-year period including Vice President of Law and Business Affairs for MTVi, an interactive division of MTV Networks, which included MTV.com, VH1.com, Sonicnet.com and CMT.com. Before that Ms. Charles was Vice President of Law and Business Affairs for MTV Networks.
Prior to MTV Networks, Ms. Charles was General Counsel for WarnerVision Entertainment. Ms. Charles also served in various legal positions at Worldvision Enterprises, the Screen Actors Guild and the law firms of Lawrence Waldman and Robert Mauer, Esq. Ms. Charles received her law degree from Pace University School of Law and a BA in Political Science from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Jeff Wallace
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Wallace is responsible for the technical product vision, engineering and day to day operation of MediaNet's digital media distribution platform, overseeing a large technology staff in the Company's Seattle office. In this role, he is responsible for MediaNet's content catalog and technology platform which includes bringing new enterprise partners to market quickly. Mr. Wallace applies the latest in technology and content advancements as he leads the effort to add next generation features to the MediaNet platform.
Before joining MediaNet, Mr. Wallace managed Software Development at FileNET Corporation, leading the web infrastructure group. In this capacity he managed multiple teams creating enterprise client and server applications that delivered document management, imaging and workflow to the desktop. Prior to that, Mr. Wallace was the Principal Engineer and Project Lead for Saros Corporation where he was responsible for server application architecture. Mr. Wallace has also contributed to software development efforts at Raima and Boeing. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Puget Sound.
